Do you know Him?

God is not some distant being who looks down upon us in judgment, with hellfire and brimstone overhanging every person just waiting for them to fail so he can hurl accusations and punishment upon them. God is also mercy, forgiveness, grace – and it’s these attributes He desires us to see and cling to. He tells us in Ezekiel 18:23 that he takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather takes pleasure when they repent and turn to Him for life and joy.
