God sings

I was listening to a program on the radio and was reminded of Zephaniah 3:17:

The LORD your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”

The Lord of all creation rejoicing over each of us with singing. God sings over us! How can you ever feel unimportant or insignificant when you read that the most powerful and awesome being in all of existence sings for you? I often find myself in awe, thinking on the majesty and splendor of God that I sometimes forget of him as a personal God, a father, who sings and celebrates with us. Passages like this always delight me in showing the more personal side of God.
